The Clerk of District Court is a sworn public servant who, by constitutional and statutory authority, provides the primary administrative function for the District Court of the 14th Judicial District Court. Since 1867, when the Clerk of Court position was established in this state, the office has served as the direct link between the public and the court.
Provides the filing of civil lawsuits, probate and estate records, felony criminal actions, adoptions, youth and insanity records, marriage licenses and dissolution records; passports; responsible for the collection and disbursement of court ordered child support, restitution surcharges and fines.
This office is also responsible for the selection and processing of citizens that are eligible to serve as a juror within the 14th District Court. For any information concerning the jury process, please contact this office at the above location.
